Muesli Reflection
Muesli Reflection
Last Friday with Miss Shannahan (Lisa) we made our muesli after planning it for the past 5 weeks it was really fun and delicious. we researched different mueslis and looked at nutrition value. after that, we made our recipe in mine and Ella's recipe was: Weetbix, boysenberries, marshmallows, choco chips, oats, cinnamon, coconut oil, and honey. after we mixed it we put it in the oven so it can toast. When we tasted it it was soo good after we tried it we put it in a plastic bag and then put it in our little cereal box and it was finished.
it tasted so good we loved it, it worked out really well but different to what I thought. if I did it again I would add more cinnamon and mango because I wanted it to be a bit more cinnamony and add mango because it taste soo good and I'd also take out the chocolate chips and the marshmallows to make it more healthy. even though it wasn't that healthy (but it mostly was) it still tasted so good. I defintely would make it again.

Octopus Writing
Octopus Writing
Octopuses are famous sea creaturs for their bulbous head, eight arms/tentacles with suction cups on them, and can trow things and unscrew things. An Octopus is an eight-legged sea creature that can swim through a hole the size of a coin because they have no bones and can change their appearance judging by the color around them.
Body
They have suction cups on their tentacles which suctions to many things like walls in a tank, big rocks, coral reefs, and much more. They shoot (sometimes) poisonous black ink out of their mouth (which is located in the middle of all the tentacles) the mouth has a sharp tooth that spits out the black ink. They have three hearts and theirs brain cells are in the arms as well as their head.
Habitat
You can find them in deep marine waters, and they hide in little holes/ crevices in coral reefs. octopuses live in warm tropical reefs/waters, they live in every ocean in the world and along with the united states seas. octopuses live in coastal marine waters and spend much of their time in holes in coral reefs.
Predators/Pray
Prey
Octopuses like to feed on other ocean creatures like crabs, clams, small fishes, and even other octopuses. all species of octopus have the venom of varying levels of toxicity, which they put inside of their prey using their mouth that looks like a birds beak. they mostly hunt at night, jumping on their prey and then wrapping their tentacles around them.
Predators
Octopuses prey are sea creatures like Dolphins, Sharks, moray, and conger eels and they will all feed on octopuses but sometimes when the prey grabs onto the octopus it squeezes through a tiny hole to shake of the predator so the octopus can get away faster and so they can hide.
overall octopuses are sea creatures that live on the ocean floor

Why we need a Mall In Greymouth
Why We Nedd a Mall
Hello, Grey District Council it is Milla and I am going to tell you why we need a mall in Greymouth. it is something that people can do and it's a fun activity to do in the holidays or weekends. Also, it's an adventure for boys and girls.
We want a mall in town because it makes money, it is fun for all people and people will love having one in town. the people of Greymouth do not want to go to Christchurch just to get a piece of clothing or something like that, You're probably wondering "how does it make money?" well if you get a job at jay jays Glassons or something like that when your good at your job and work hard your boss will pay you so that's how you make money.
In conclusion, I think we need a mall In town because it brings more people together. It makes money, it is a fun place to go to any day and at any time. it'll help people make money for their rent and pay their bills when they work at shops in the mall. it is useful for people's houses because you can buy furniture cups clothes blankets stuff like that for your household and it'll make your house comfy and cozy for you. it'll make a lot of money for food, water, car rent all of those things. and that's Why we need a mall, By Milla

The Tree Of Life
She held hope in her outstretched hands. Kneeling gently on the ground, she prepared herself for what she knew she must do. The cool water trickled through her muddy fingers, and the soft, black earth felt comfortingly warm on her palms. Planting the tree of life would mean a new beginning. The opportunities were endless...
Feeling the excitement course through her quivering body, she lowered the tree of life into the small hole she prepared. It was time, the tree of life was growing. She was waiting every single
day for the tree of life to grow just an inch. But one day... she walked outside ''THE TREE OF LIFE'' she said in shock the tree of life was the size of her house, the leaves were the size of a tv, the trunk was as big as half a house, the waterfall is as big as a swimming pool. She called her friend and asked her to come over for a swim. Her friend said yes, she came over ''wow'' she said. They played in the waterfall until it was time for her friend to go.
Hi there today I have been doing a tree of life story I hope you enjoy my story and the funniest thing I did was writing.

WALT:Use Descriptive Language About Our Holidays
Waikukui Beach Camping New Year
This year we went to Waikukui beach for the new year. I was so excited to go. and every single day me and my friends would go biking. the waves were crashing on the shore of the windy but glowingly sunny beach. me Grace and Charli went swimming almost every day. the first time we went we were exaggerating we could hear many people laughing and kids screaming while we dove into the glistening blue water it was extremely salty but also super fun. we were there for hours and hours until it was dinner. we were there for eight days. but we just did the same thing every single day. but one new years eve there is always a huge party everyone goes down to and at the party, there is a Talent Show. kids and adults participate in the show. and the party goes on until midnight I get so tired. when we wake up we say goodbye pack our things and leave to go back to Greymouth.
