What I would Bring (foodwise)

 

Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, Today Takutai came into our class (Whenua) to do the SLJ (Summer Learning Journey) activity. I and Kiara were a buddy, our activity was what we would bring to the Naioa sea trip, the trip goes out to sea for 3 weeks and we have to bring 10 food items of our choice that would last 3 weeks, thaks for reading my blog post - Milla <3

Muesli Reflection

 Muesli Reflection

Last Friday with Miss Shannahan (Lisa) we made our muesli after planning it for the past 5 weeks it was really fun and delicious. we researched different mueslis and looked at nutrition value. after that, we made our recipe in mine and Ella's recipe was: Weetbix, boysenberries, marshmallows, choco chips, oats, cinnamon, coconut oil, and honey. after we mixed it we put it in the oven so it can toast.When we tasted it it was soo good after we tried it we put it in a plastic bag and then put it in our little cereal box and it was finished.

it tasted so good we loved it, it worked out really well but different to what I thought. if I did it again I would add more cinnamon and mango because I wanted it to be a bit more cinnamony and add mango because it taste soo good and I'd also take out the chocolate chips and the marshmallows to make it more healthy. even though it wasn't that healthy (but it mostly was) it still tasted so good. I defintely would make it again.

Muesli

 

Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, Today I and the year 6's did some muesli it was really fun to make. I and Ella did the same muesli because Ella left her recipe at her house. we made a big batch. In our muesli we had, Mango, freeze-dried berries, Weetbix (crushed), oats, raisins, dried cranberries, honey chocolate chips, marshmallow cinnamon and coconut oil. we made the muesli because we are trying to make healthy food. thanks for reading my blog post - Milla <3

Diwali Rangoli Patterns

 

Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, Today I and my class Put our Rangoli patterns on our blogs but we did it digitally it was really fun to find the shapes and create rangoli patterns My one had circles, a flower, and a triangle star thing. Rangoli patterns mean welcome, people make them with crushed up chalk and make them on their doorstep. thank you for reading my blog post - Milla <3

Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, today the years 7 & 8 went to tech while the year 6 stayed behind and tried Miss Farr's (our teacher) let us try some of her muesli breakfast, it was so good. Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, today some of Whenua finished their calendar art ( I did) it took a while to finish but I managed. the funnest thing was colouring the image in the bubble. the writing was a bit hard though, the colouring of the 2022 was probably the easyest to do. Capillary Action

 

Hi, Kia Ora, How are you, Today the year 7 and 8's went to tech, and the year 6's stayed and did some technology/science. it was really fun to do. we did Capillary action which is the movement of water molecules. it is still evaporating the water though. thanks for reading my blog post - Milla <3

Hi, kia ora, how are you, today, we had a different teacher while Miss Farr is doing testing in the office. our teacher now is Miss Mckee. today we are learning about the Paralympics. we did this in lockdown but I didn't finish it in lockdown. it was really fun to make, my favourite part was learning about why it was called the paralympics. thanks for reading my blog post - Milla <3

Key Word Hunt

 

Hi, kia ora, how are you yesterday Miss Farr sent us some work to do one was read a book and write some keywords but I didn't get it finished yesterday (I didn't have enough time) so I finished it today. The book was about a boy called Mac he was a nine-year-old who wanted to raise money for St Jhon by biking the whole North Island, and he raised up to 7,000. but was a bit hard to do because I couldn't find many keywords. thanks - Milla <3

Hi, Kia ora, how are you? today after you google meet Miss Farr (our teacher) assigned us to finish off our ghost cities, ghost cities are basically just abandoned cities/places/towns. I did mine on residents of Pennsylvania, carbon monoxide poisoning. it was fun to learn about whats happen and how.
